This Blog and How It All Started - My Story

The whole shift came about so gently, I didn't even realize it at first. One day I saw an aura of purple coming off the distant trees. My sister saw it too. I thought this was really strange, but I was excited about it because nothing like that had ever happened to me. I thought of myself as -too practical, -too grounded. However, I was open to the idea that there were those among us that could experience something beyond the 5 senses.

I had the thought that I would like to be able to experience the non-physical senses, now that I knew it was possible. Someone said that all I had to do was ask, and it would be brought to me in the most perfect way.

I did ask. It came about through videos, & books that caught my attention, and then I began the automatic writing. 

For automatic writing, I start with an attunement that I use to align with my Higher Self. I start my writing first by expressing welcome & gratitude to my guides, spirits and angels, then posing my questions, or asking what I need to know for the day, and how can I help? The answers come smoothly and quickly. I cannot take credit for what comes, except to be the receiver and the recorder. 

When I asked...how can I be of help, what is my role? They used to say...just wait, you have much to learn... and I am still learning and always will be. When the idea of the Blog came to me, my first thought was excitement, and then, small self stepped in and said...but who's going to read it? I asked the Guides (Higher Self). They said not to worry, those who need it will find it. So here we go.

Out Loud

 Reflecting on what I've said aloud, as I experience this amazing spiritual journey, I realize that my understanding is always given to me according to what my mind can hold at the moment. Every insight may be looked at anew in the next moment...and the next, bringing deeper and deeper understanding, into infinity.  The point of this reflection is to consider that what I say, out loud, may only be understood by another, at their own level of consciousness, at the moment.

In The Zone

Hands apart, eyes closed. Each hand represents either past or future. Bring the palms together into prayer pose, and you have a gesture that represents the present, alignment to the moment. In that moment, you may find truth beyond the physical realm. Love, peace, inspiration, connection. There is no limitation, no binding to ideas of past or fear of the future. You are just being. You are one with all.  When you are painting and “in the zone“, this is where you are. This is where time does not exist, space does not exist, only the moment, each moment as it is, and as you allow. Each moment is a possibility. You are in co creation with your Highest Self. While your small self remains in the physical realm and holds the tools of creation in order to manifest the artwork that will be to your benefit and or the benefit of all. The gesture, the prayer pose, can be a sort of attunement or alignment tool whenever needed and especially before you begin painting.
